Serranova Castle

Castello di Serranova, built by the feudal lord Ottavio Serra in 1629, insists on an older nucleus from 1350 of which it has preserved the original entrance on the first floor, on the sea side. It presents itself with a square tower, with a slight counterscarp and all along the perimeter of the terrace, by a system of machicolations; a more recent building leans against it, which the climbing ivy has merged into a single homogeneous body.
